Sour odours

A sour odour can arise when clothing is left wet for long periods before hanging to dry. Usually this occurs when clothes are left in the washing machine or out in the rain. In general you only need to soak items overnight; any longer can result in a sour odour. If this occurs, re-wash the article then dry. If you have left washed articles in the machine for a long period of time, re-rinse them before hanging.
